Staff Parking Lot on Missouri Avenue

The staff parking lot located near the front of the school on Missouri Avenue is intended for school employees only.  All visitors, parent volunteers and guests are to use street parking.  Furthermore, please do not use the staff parking lot to drop off or pick up your child.  The staff parking lot is not intended for student traffic, as it poses a safety hazard. 

School Safety and Security

As a reminder, we will implement a few changes in monitoring entrances and exits of our campus.  This will take effect on January 8, 2018.  We will have all entrances monitored by school staff to ensure the safety of your children/our students during arrival and dismissal times.  Please be reminded that only students are permitted to enter the campus through the gates or main entrance.  In the event that parents/guardians have official business with the school you are required to enter and sign in at the main entrance corridor with our staff member and indicate the purpose for your visit.  Adults may not enter through the Dearborn or Victoria gates.  Parent volunteers will also need to follow the same protocol of signing in and entering through the main entrance to begin volunteer work.

South Gate PD and Mayor Davila Parent Meeting

Victoria Avenue invites all parents to attend our very informative parent meeting with South Gate Mayor, Maria Davila and the South Gate Police Department.  Our amazing police department will be talking about drugs and answer any questions you might have.  Light refreshments will be served.  The meeting will be held on Thursday, December 7th at 8:30am in the School Library.

Victoria Avenue invita a todos los padres a asistir a nuestra muy informativa reunión de padres con la Alcaldesa de South Gate, Maria Davila y el Departamento de Policía de South Gate. Nuestro increíble departamento de policía hablará sobre drogas y responderá cualquier pregunta que pueda tener. Se servirán refrescos ligeros. La reunión se llevará a cabo el jueves, 7 de diciembre a las 8:30 a.m. en la Biblioteca de la escuela.

Minimum Days


Just a friendly reminder that beginning Monday, November 6th we will be having minimum days and students will be dismissed at 12:34pm. Below is the schedule for the week.
